Update for Trapped Forest Illustration
Here is an update for what I have completed this past week for my trapped forest illustration. This one is nearly done except for the branches in the water, but I feel that is is decent enough to move onto the next piece. I plan I will have enough time to fully complete this, but I am happy with the progress right now.

Refined Thumbnails for Forest
Here are my two refined ideas for my forest. I didn't think I'd be doing a swamp sort of thing, but here it goes anyway.
Tree Studies for Illustration
Here are some studies of swamp trees. They include cypress trees, some with spanish moss on them, white swamp oak, and tree brush from cypresses and black gum trees.

Thumbnails for Forest Illustration
Here are my 50 or so thumbnails along with the ten larger thumbnails. I actually liked what I did in class a little better, so I might take a look at those again.

In-Class Digital SpeedPaint
So today was a bit exciting. All of us were super scared for this impromptu speed paint in class. But, I actually had a lot of fun with mine. Of course, it's not perfect, but I think it's nice to look at.
Enjoy, Madeline
